Family Reunion planned for June 24 to July 1, 2006
Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park

Big Sur - Photo from BigSurCalifornia.org website. Click to go there. With its dramatic seaside cliffs and primeval redwoods, Big Sur is arguably the most ruggedly beautiful 90-mile stretch of California's 1200-mile coastline.

San Francisco Guide

There are two state parks in Big Sur within 10 miles of each other, bearing similar names, similar addresses, and similar scenery, and many people get them confused. Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park is the small, little-developed state park with great hiking trails, big redwoods, and the famous waterfall that drops to the beach, McWay Falls. Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park is the much larger state park with a campground, lodge, and restaurant, plus great hiking trails, big redwoods, and a small inland waterfall, Pfeiffer Falls.

Who is coming?
Mom and Dad: Lodge

Alan, Diana, Jennifer: Camping

Brian: Camping
My family (Brian, Carol, Thomas, Emma).
Thomas and Carol will not be there mid-week due to summer school.

Caran, Rich: NOT ABLE TO ATTEND.
Jenny Goodall: NOT ATTENDING
Jessica Goodall Bloomfield: NOT ATTENDING

Dian:
Dian, Gary and Emmy are going for the week. We
will stay in the lodge with Mom and Dad but would also
like to camp! We will be working on our plans, and
may possibly extend the trip another few days, maybe
with camping on our own. We will need to consider how
much gear is involved, and whether we could borrow
some things from Brian or someone driving, so we don't
have to carry so much. Emmy's gear alone fills a car
trunk! Now that our weather is getting warmer here we
	will do a practice weekend.

Evan: Camping

Fabian: NOT ATTENDING

Gordan: Camping
Maybe people can spend an extra day in California.

Don and Carol Lawrence: Planning to come and stay four days in the lodge.

Lori Salomone: We plan to come and stay four days in the lodge.
We are coming to Big Sur arrival 6/24/06 departing 06/28/06.
We aren't staying the whole week since we are adding it on to an already three week vacation
which will include Hawaii right before we come to Big Sur. We have already confirmed our lodging
in the state park and have room for Lisa's family should she come at the last minute.
So included in my response is Lori, Mike, Emily, Ella, Don and Carol.

Lisa, Marvin, Alison: Planning to come and stay four days in the lodge.
THREE campsites have been reserved:
Site-1: (Alan and Diana), (Jennifer)
Site-2: (Brian and Carol), (Thomas), (Emma)
Site-3: (Evan), (Gordan)
Will probably reduce to TWO sites.

Lodge Reservations for:
Bob and Margie
Dian and Gary with Emmy
Don and Carol
Lori and Mike with Emily and Ella
Lisa and Marvin with Alison
